The studio behind RetroVerse

Curious how the studio's maths reads in practice? The RetroVerse RTP and volatility breakdown takes it apart.

Where RetroVerse Fits

RetroVerse comes from Push Gaming and sits in its Push Originals category. Push launched it to global markets on 15 April 2026. It's the third game in the studio's Retro line: Retro Tapes came first in 2022, Retro Sweets followed, and Push calls RetroVerse the sequel to Retro Sweets.

You can see the family resemblance in the numbers. Push Gaming lists Retro Tapes and Retro Sweets as high-volatility games with a highest observed win of 10,000x, and RetroVerse keeps that same 10,000x figure, here as a hard cap per round in the rules. What changed is the board: RetroVerse runs on a 6x9 cluster grid with cascades, sticky Instant Prizes in Free Spins and Wilds that carry their own multipliers.

Push Gaming publishes two RTP figures for each of these games on its own pages. For RetroVerse that's 96.24% and 94.37%. The game client also holds 92.38% and 85.32% builds, which is why it's worth checking the info panel at your casino.

What Push Gaming Publishes

The Retro series

Retro Tapes (2022), Retro Sweets, then RetroVerse. Three games, all rated high volatility by Push, all listed at 10,000x for their top win.

Two published RTPs per game

Each Push game page in the table below shows a main RTP and a lower second one. For RetroVerse: 96.24% and 94.37%.

Push Bet

An optional raised stake for more frequent Free Spins. In RetroVerse it comes as Boost (1.5x the Base Bet) and Mega Boost (2.5x), with wins still paid off the Base Bet.

Published win figures

Push lists a "highest observed win" for each game. For RetroVerse that's 10,000x, which also matches the cap in the game rules.

Other Push Gaming Games

Figures from each game's page on pushgaming.com. Push lists two RTP builds per game and a "highest observed win", which is the biggest win seen, not necessarily a cap.

What's Published and What Isn't

Push Gaming publishes RetroVerse's RTP (96.24% and 94.37%), volatility and highest observed win on its game page, and the rules inside the game spell out the 10,000x cap per round. It does not publish which testing lab certified this title, the bet range, a hit rate or a Free Spins trigger rate. Where the RTP is concerned, the only check that counts is the info panel at the casino you play at.

Why RetroVerse?

RetroVerse is for players who like watching a board build. Wilds that grow +1 with every winning cascade, a Wild Mystery box that levels up, and a Free Spins round where Instant Prizes stick until the grid fills. Add a 96.24% main RTP and a 10,000x cap, and you know exactly where the ceiling is before you start.
